On July 20, 2018, at 11:00, in the Hall No 206 of the College of Tourism in Burgas, located in “Lake” Park, a press conference will be held on the occasion of the launch of the BG05M2OP001-1.001-0004-C01 project "Universities for Science, Informatics and Technology in the e-Society (UNITe)". The project is funded by the OP "Science and Education for Smart Growth".
Its aim is to establish a competitive and internationally recognised research complex that meets the requirements for a modern infrastructure and a high level of research in the ISIS priority area "Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies". The UNITe Centre of Excellence is a distributed research infrastructure type and is being built to enhance the ability of researchers from different geographical regions in Bulgaria (Burgas, Russe, Sofia, Shumen) to collaborate with each other as well as with partners from Europe and across world.
In the press conference the following team members will make presentations: Prof. Dr. Krasen Stefanov (Sofia University), Prof. Dr. Sotir Sotirov (Burgas University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zlatka Jarvis (Technical University-Sofia), Assoc. Prof. Vejdi Hasanov (Shumen University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Desislava Atanasova (University of Ruse).
