The main activity of the CoE UNITe is related to scientific research in Informatics and ICT. The main scientific topics of the CoE UNITe partners include:

Burgas State Univesity “Prof. Assen Zlatarov”:

Technical University of Sofia:

  • Smart and Sustainable Systems
  • Cybersecurity: vulnerability analysis, prevention and protection from cyber attacks

 

The following complementary activities are envisaged to support researchers:

  • Strategic organizational management – to build organizational capacity and ensure sustainable cooperation of partners in the CoE UNITe.
  • Strategic management of human resources in research – to strengthen the human resources of UNITe in research and to prepare the next generations of researchers.
  • International networks and cooperation – UNITe will connect with European research infrastructures with a similar structure to facilitate: the international integration of the Center, cooperation with foreign data centers, exchange of expertise, joint tripartite events, etc.
  • Management and maintenance of the research infrastructure – ensuring access to research infrastructure, maintenance and management of scientific equipment, communication networks, archives of scientific data, scientific services, etc.
  • Digital Innovation Hub – to support open collaboration and knowledge exchange between UNITe partners, as well as communication with external stakeholders in research and innovation.
  • Scientific events and knowledge exchange – aimed at sharing knowledge with the research community through organizing research seminars, participation in conferences and other significant scientific events in Informatics and ICT.
  • Knowledge valorization – to build capacity for knowledge valorization, intellectual property management and engagement of stakeholders for joint activities in the field of science and innovation.
  • Publicity and communication – to widely disseminate research results and create conditions for their use by all stakeholders in order to achieve maximum impact and facilitate regional growth.
