The Center of Excellence UNITe is an association, established by leading Bulgarian universities with a clear mission: to advance scientific knowledge, innovation, and digital transformation in Bulgaria. UNITe brings together the academic community to conduct high-quality research, develop technologies and share knowledge within an e-society.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts individual or joint scientific research using modern research methods in the relevant scientific field;
- Performs critical analysis and evaluation of research results;
- Presents the results of their research and publishes them in specialized scientific journals, explaining their scientific contribution and indicating their affiliation with the COE UNITe Association and the project number;
- Contributes to the achievement of objectives and compliance with research deadlines;
- Actively cooperates within the framework of the COE UNITe Association, as well as outside, with scientific teams from academic circles to carry out research projects;
- Develops ideas for applying the results of scientific research.
REQUIREMENTS
- To have a PhD (or equivalent) in the scientific field;
- To have refereed publications in scientific journals or collections;
- Very good written and verbal communication skills;
- English language at working level;
- Very good computer skills – MS Office, data processing software, and other programs specific to the scientific field;
- Teamwork skills;
- Ability to combine classical and modern research methods;
- To be familiar with the regulations governing the activities of the COE UNITe Association, as well as the regulations in the field of education and science relating to their main activities.
