The event was organized as part of project 2023-1-IT01-KA220-VET-000154806 CRAFT3D – “Promoting innovation in traditional craft practices through 3D printing and technological advances,” which is funded by the Erasmus+ program and implemented by BIC Inobridge and five other European organizations from Germany, Italy, Spain, and Luxembourg.
As part of the training, Prof. Hristov and Prof. Zahariev presented to the students and their teachers the activities related to 3D digitization and visualization of the Center of Excellence UNITe (UNITe Project), which was established under project BG16RFPR002-1. 014-0004, funded by the “Scientific Research, Innovation and Digitization for Smart Transformation” Program 2021-2027 and co-funded by the European Union.
At the end of the event, representatives of Alma Mater invited students and teachers from VHSWID “Yosif Vondrak” – Ruse to visit the CoE UNITe and the University’s Research Complex, where they could learn more about the processes of 3D modeling, digitization through photogrammetry, 3D scanning, and 3D printing, as well as the application and use of 3D and digital resources for creating products with augmented and virtual reality, holographic systems, computer games, etc.
