During the first week of July, University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” welcomed Prof. Elma Zanaj, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Lorenc Malka, PhD, from the Polytechnic University of Tirana, as well as Assoc. Prof. Blerina Zanaj, PhD, from the Agricultural University in the Albanian capital.
The visit of the guests from Albania is part of the CEEPUS program.
The guests, who are members of the Information Technology faculties of both universities, had the opportunity to visit the Center of Excellence UNITe at University of Ruse, where they learned about modern 3D technologies for digitization and kinematics, various solutions for additive manufacturing, augmented, mixed, and virtual reality systems, and more.
After the demonstrations and presentation of the center’s capabilities, the lecturers from Tirana discussed opportunities for cooperation on various projects between their universities, the Center of Excellence UNITe, and the University of Ruse, as well as opportunities for lecturer and student mobility.
