On January 30, 2024, Prof. Plamen Zahariev, Prof. Georgi Hristov, and Assoc. Prof. Nina Bencheva presented an honorary scientific lecture on “3D Technologies in Scientific and Educational Activities of Higher Education Institutions”.
The event was jointly organized by Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, and the International Scientific Association for Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI). The lecture was held in a hybrid format, with more than 50 students, doctoral students, and lecturers from various scientific organizations and universities in Thailand participating.
Prof. Plamen Zahariev, Prof. Georgi Hristov, and Assoc. Prof. Nina Bencheva presented an honorary scientific lecture on “3D technologies in scientific and educational activities at higher education institutions”. The presentation focuses on the activities carried out by the scientific team of CoE UNITe – Ruse under Work Package 5 of the scientific program. The presentation expresses gratitude to the UNITe Project.
After the presentation, there was a discussion session titled “Questions and Comments,” during which the guests asked the lecturers their questions. The methods of digitization, the possibilities for digitizing cultural heritage in Thailand, and the potential cooperation between representatives of the CoE UNITe and the hosts were discussed.
