On November 13, 2025, at the invitation of the Department of Telecommunications, the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” was visited by representatives of the engineering departments of Siemens EOOD – the Bulgarian branch of Siemens, a global leader in the fields of industrial automation, building automation, rail transport, and healthcare technologies.
The visit of the representatives of Siemens EOOD included a visit to the Center of Excellence UNITe. In the CoE UNITe building the guests learned about the main tasks, activities, and results of the research conducted by scientists at the center and examined the specialized equipment in the laboratories for 3D digitization, kinematics, 3D printing, and 3D visualization at the center.
The possibilities for expanding cooperation between University of Ruse and Siemens EOOD in the field of digital technologies and digital twins were discussed.
