On November 7, 2025, at 2 p.m., in the conference hall of the Center of Excellence (CoE) UNITe (UNITe Project) at University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”, the public defense of the dissertation thesis of Eng. Svetozar Milchev Yolov was held, on the topic “Creating a Conceptual Industry 4.0 Model in the Modern Paradigm of Automation” for the acquisition of a Doctorate degree in professional field 5.3. “Communication and Computer Engineering” in the scientific field of “Communication Networks and Systems”. Eng. Yolov’s supervisors are Prof. Georgi Hristov and Prof. Plamen Zahariev from the Department of Telecommunications.
Eng. Svetozar Milchev Yolov delivered a presentation in defense of his dissertation on the topic: Creation of a Conceptual Industry 4.0 Model in the Contemporary Paradigm of Automation for the acquisition of a Doctorate degree in the professional field 5.3. “Communication and Computer Engineering” in the scientific specialty “Communication Networks and Systems”. The doctoral student’s supervisors are Prof. Georgi Hristov and Prof. Plamen Zahariev.
The Scientific Jury included Prof. Veneta Alexieva, Prof. Hristo Vulchanov, and Assoc. Prof. Aydan Haku from TU-Varna. After the thesis defense, the colleagues from TU-Varna visited the laboratories for 3D digitization, kinematics, 3D printing, and 3D visualization at the Center of Excellence UNITe (CoE UNITe) and learned about the main activities and tasks of the researchers. The CoE UNITe was developed within the framework of Project BG16RFPR002-1.014-0004 UNITe, which is funded under the Program “Scientific Research, Innovation, and Digitization for Smart Transformation”.
