On May 13, 2025, a scientific seminar on technology transfer was held at the Center of Excellence UNITe (CoE UNITe) at University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”. The event was organized by the Research Group 3.1.3. “Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems and Technologies for Generating and Visualizing Spatial Objects and Processes” as part of the “Scientific University of Ruse” Project.
Event Overview:
In addition to the members of the research group, the seminar was attended by guests from the Department of Telecommunications under the Erasmus+ Program:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Naufal Mohamad Saad;
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Hilmi Hasan;
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Masdi Muhamad;
- Dr. Su Li Chong from Petronas University of Technology, Malaysia;
- Prof. Dr. Louay Alavne and Prof. Dr. Taimour Aldalgamuni from the Jordan University of Science and Technology;
- Prof. Dr. Ali Bentawof and Prof. Dr. Omar Arboushe from Saida University “Dr. Moulay Tahar”, Algeria.
Seminar Details:
- The event began with a presentation from the hosts, introducing the guests to the activities of the Research Group 3.1.3 in the fields of 3D technologies, cyber-physical systems, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), among others.
- Subsequently, the guests presented their own scientific activities and developments in the fields of cybernetics, cybersecurity, robotics, embedded systems, and software engineering.
Collaboration Discussions:
- At the end of the seminar, discussions were held on potential cooperation between the scientists from the four institutions. These discussions focused on potential joint activities, such as:
- Preparation of joint scientific publications;
- Collaborative research projects;
- Training programs and conferences.
The seminar provided an excellent platform for cross-border collaboration and facilitated valuable exchanges between researchers in cyber-physical systems and technology development. The event further strengthened the ties between University of Ruse and its international partners, paving the way for future cooperative efforts.
