In early February 2024, Prof. Plamen Zahariev, Prof. Georgi Hristov, and Assoc. Prof. Nina Bencheva from the Department of Telecommunications at University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” held several meetings with faculty members and doctoral students at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
The proposal made by the faculty members of University of Ruse for conducting short-term specialized training in the field of 3D technologies was of particular interest to the hosts from Chulalongkorn University. These training sessions would be held both at the UNITe Center of Excellence (CoE UNITe) at University of Ruse, which was established as part of the UNITe Project, and also on-site at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
